01

For buyers

Can one request cover several sites or states?

Yes. List every location in your request and we'll route it to providers that can serve each one.

What should I put in a project request?

Scope and quantities, the standards you must meet, preferred dates and any site access rules. Our blog has a short guide on writing a strong request.

Does it cost anything to find a provider?

No. Searching the directory, comparing profiles and sending a project request are free for buyers. Providers pay for optional visibility and features, never buyers.

How does matching actually work?

You describe the service, the state you need coverage in and the standards your project must meet. Your request goes to providers that offer that service and list that state in their service area — you can also send it to one company directly from its profile.

How many providers are in the directory?

The directory is open but still growing, so we don't quote a total. Search the service and state you need and you'll see exactly who is approved for that combination today — no padded numbers.

What if no provider covers my service and state?

You'll see an honest 'no approved providers yet' message instead of unrelated results. Send us the request anyway: we route it to qualified firms outside the directory and add your need to the coverage gaps we're working to fill.

How fast will providers reply?

That depends on the firms themselves, so we don't promise a turnaround. Requests include your timeline field so providers can triage urgent work first, and our team follows up by email on every submission.

Do you give ratings or reviews?

No. We publish verified credential labels and provider-reported facts — not star ratings or reviews we can't substantiate. Judge a provider on its verified accreditations, scope and stated coverage.

What details should I include in a request?

Service needed, state and site, equipment or sample types, quantities, applicable standards (for example ISO 14644-1 or cGMP), access constraints and your target timeline. The more specific you are, the better the match.

Can I use LabSource for a multi-site program?

Yes. List every site and state involved in one request, and our team can coordinate matching across locations rather than one-off quotes.

02

For providers

Can I list service areas beyond my headquarters state?

Yes. You choose the states you actually serve, and you appear on those state pages.

Is the free listing really free?

Yes. A free listing is $0 with no time limit: company profile, up to two service categories and quote requests by email. Paid plans only add reach and features.

How long does review take?

Every submission is checked manually, so timing varies with volume and how complete the submission is. We email you when your listing is approved, or when we need something more from you.

What do you check before publishing a listing?

That the business exists, that it actually operates the services it claims, and that the locations and states it lists are ones it serves. Anything you claim but can't stand behind gets sent back.

Can I list states I serve from another office?

Yes — service coverage is separate from your headquarters. List every state you genuinely serve, and be ready to support that claim during review.

Can I claim a listing that already exists?

Self-service claims aren't open yet. If your company is already listed, submit your own listing and tell us the existing profile — we'll confirm ownership before any transfer.

What happens after my listing is approved?

Your profile appears in directory search, service pages and the state pages you cover, and quote requests for your services start arriving. You can then submit accreditations for verification.

Can I edit or remove my listing?

Yes. Contact our team to correct details or take a listing down. We keep the directory accurate, so stale or wrong information should be reported to us promptly.

Verification & trust

What does 'Independently verified' mean?

We checked that credential directly with the organization that issued it and recorded its scope, expiration date and our review date. Only then does it carry the verified label.

What does 'Provider-reported' mean?

The provider stated it and we haven't verified it yet. It's a claim, not a confirmation — treat it as a question to ask that provider.

Why do some credentials show 'Expired'?

A credential that was verified can pass its expiration date. We relabel it as expired until the provider submits a renewal for re-review, so nothing stale reads as current.

Does paying for a plan improve my verification status?

No. Verification comes only from credential review. Paid plans buy visibility, and sponsored placement is always labeled as sponsored — never presented as endorsement or accreditation.

Does a verified credential mean the provider meets my regulations?

Not on its own. It confirms what the provider holds, not that it satisfies your specific regulator, facility or application. Confirm applicable standards with your quality team.

Who reviews listings and credentials?

Our own team, working from submitted documents and issuing organizations. We don't accept self-declared status as verified, and we don't outsource the labeling decision.

Plans & listings

What do the plans cost?

Free Listing $0, Professional $149/mo, Featured Provider $299/mo, Regional Premium $599/mo, and Enterprise from $999/mo. Full feature breakdowns are on the pricing page.

Can I start free and upgrade later?

Yes. Most providers begin on the free listing and move up once they see inquiries arriving. Upgrading keeps your existing profile — nothing is rebuilt or resubmitted.

What's the difference between Featured and Regional Premium?

Featured adds labeled sponsored placement within your service categories. Regional Premium extends priority placement across your service region and adds team seats for multiple people managing the profile.

Can I cancel or change plans?

Yes. Change or cancel any time by contacting our team; you keep paying-plan features through the end of the period you've paid for, and your listing stays live on the free tier.

How do I pay, and do you send invoices?

Online self-serve checkout is still being wired up. Until then, start with a free listing and our team will arrange payment and invoicing with you directly for an upgrade.

05

Privacy & data

Who can see my project details?

Only the providers your request is matched with, plus our team. We don't publish your contact details anywhere, and we don't add you to marketing lists.

Is my contact information sold or shared broadly?

No. We don't sell or rent contact lists. A request is shared with matched providers only because you asked for it — the request form carries that consent explicitly.

Do providers get my email without asking me?

No. Your details reach a provider only when you submit a request that includes them, either to a specific company or through matching you opted into.

How do I get my data removed?

Ask our team and we'll delete what we hold on you, subject to records we're required to keep. The Privacy Policy explains what's collected and for how long.
