LabSource Network

Trust & verification

Verified means verified.

Every credential on LabSource Network carries a label that tells you exactly how it was checked. Paid placement never changes that label.

Our process

How we review providers and credentials

Listing review

Every company is reviewed by our team before it's published. We confirm the business exists, operates the services it lists, and serves the locations it claims.

Credential submission

Providers submit accreditations and certifications with supporting documents, including scope and expiration.

Independent check

We confirm each credential with the issuing organization and record the scope, expiration date and review date.

Ongoing status

Credentials past their expiration date are relabeled as expired until the provider submits a renewal.

Labels you'll see

Four labels. No ambiguity.

Independently verified

Confirmed with the issuing organization, including scope and expiration.

Provider-reported

Claimed by the provider and not yet reviewed. Shown clearly as unverified.

Expired

Previously verified, but past its expiration date.

Sponsored

Paid visibility. Always labeled, and never a substitute for accreditation.

Examples

Credentials providers commonly submit

These are examples of credentials a provider may submit for review. Each is labeled by its review status on the profile.

01

ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation

Competence of testing and calibration labs. We record the accreditation body and scope.

02

NSF/ANSI 49 accreditation

Field certification of Class II biosafety cabinets.

03

ISO 9001 certification

Quality management system certification for the provider's organization.

04

Technician certifications

Individual training credentials held by field technicians.

05

Insurance certificates

Coverage types and limits buyers often require for vendor approval.

06

Manufacturer authorizations

Factory-authorized service status for specific equipment brands.

Important

Always confirm what your project requires.

Requirements differ by facility, regulator and application. A verified credential confirms what the provider holds — not that it satisfies your specific compliance needs. Confirm applicable standards with your quality team.
